Milano began her acting career at the age of 8 and was the modelling influence of Ariel in The Little Mermaid. Best known for her part as feisty Phoebe Halliwell in Charmed, she became a role model for females around the world. Milano is also active in promoting awareness for dyslexia, as she has used her Twitter account to post links about tips to detect and cope with dyslexia.

Number 9: Mollie King, Singer

A member of the British girl group The Saturdays, Mollie has received twelve top-ten and seven top-five singles on the UK Singles Chart and three top-ten albums on the UK Albums Chart. King has also created a collection for Oasis Stores titled ‘Loved by Mollie’ and appeared on episodes of Hollyoaks.

Having one of the most soulful voices in the country, Stone has been Nominated for 3 Grammys: best new artist, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (‘You Had Me’) & Best Pop Vocal Album (Mind, Body & Soul) (2005) despite only being 27 Years old. The soulful singer has also been Ranked #78 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2007 list.

Best known for playing Dawn Swann in EastEnders and winning 2010’s Strictly Come Dancing. Kara helps promote Dyslexia with the BBC documentary Kara Tointon: Don’t Call Me Stupid. On making ‘Kara Tointon. Don’t Call Me Stupid’ “At one point I didn’t want to do the documentary about my dyslexia. I felt quite vulnerable and exposed but it was one of the best things I’ve ever done”

Most famous for her presenting role on This Morning in which she shares with friend Phillip Schofield and taking over Cilla Blacks role in Surprise, Surprise because of her likeable personality. Willoughby is constantly remarked as beautiful by the media and has appeared in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women poll every year since 2005.

Daughter of Steven Tyler, Liv Tyler was launched into fame by such films as Armageddon and by playing the Elvish beauty Arwen in Lord of the Rings. Tyler also is a spokeswoman for Givenchy Perfume and Cosmetics and has modelled for companies such as Pantene and Maybelline.

As well as being and actress, Knightley was confirmed as the new celebrity face of Chanel’s perfume Coco Mademoiselle.

Famous for her rough upbringing and famous male lovers, Monroe was seen as an innocent wrapped in the world of fame and greed. Although this year would be her 88th birthday, Monroe is seen as an immortal beauty that will pass on to generations after us.
