If you’re a regular reader/viewer/listener of The Codpast, you’ll know that for me as a Dyslexic blogger, without assistive technology, writing this blog would just be a labour rather than a labour of love.  Text-to-Speech was the first type of asisstive technology that I came across, and it was a game changer. It was the most liberating feeling to be able to listen to an email and be confident that I could press the send button and know there were no mistakes. If you’ve never tried it I would highly recommend giving it a go.

As text-to-speech users, we are spoilt for choice, as  this is one of the most catered for sections of the assistive technology market. There are quite a few packages to choose from, so over the next few weeks we’ll be bringing you reviews of some of the most popular Text-to-Speech packages on the market.

This time we give you the lowdown on Texthelp’s offering to the Text-to-Speech market, Read&Write. If you like the sound of the Read&Write software reviewed in this video, you can download a Free Read&Write Trial here.
